Reanne Frank's research to date has focused on examining how demographic outcomes (health and mortality, fertility and marriage) are influenced by the migration process, with specific attention given to the case of the U.S.-Mexico migration flow. Her work has also focused on the role of changing immigrant settlement patterns and different social contexts in contributing to the health and health-risk behaviors of first, second, and later generations of immigrant youth in the U.S.
