CEHV is proud to co-present, "Talking About the Middle East Buckeye Community Event: An Opening Dialogue." This event is part of Multi-ethnic Cultural Reproductions in the Middle East (MCRME): a Global Arts and Humanities-funded project presented in collaboration between the Melton Center for Jewish Studies, the Middle East Studies Center, and the Center for Ethics and Human Values. We invite you to join us for an exploration of the dialogues between Hannah Kosstrin and Joy McCorriston that led to the founding of the project, followed by a facilitated discussion of important questions by Aaron Yarmel. The dialogue will also feature contributions from Yiğit Akin, Naomi Brenner, Johanna Sellman, and Ori Yehudai.
This event is sponsored by the Melton Center for Jewish Studies, Middle East Studies Center, Center for Ethics and Human Values, Mershon Center for International Security Studies, and Global Arts + Humanities | Cross-Disciplinary Research Exchange.
The event will take place on Tuesday, September 9 from 11:00AM-12:30PM on the 11th Floor of Thompson Library. A lunch with Kosher, Halal, and vegan options will be provided.
Space is limited, so please RSVP:
