Join Banned Books Week at The Ohio State University Libraries for a screening of "The Books He Didn’t Burn," a documentary examining Adolf Hitler’s private library and the history of the volumes that escaped destruction. While history remembers the Nazi book burnings, the titles Hitler collected reveal a chilling story about state censorship, propaganda and ideological control.
Following the film, stay for a Q&A and community discussion facilitated by CEHV Associate Director Dr. Aaron Yarmel. Attendees will be invited to reflect on the film’s themes and consider why protecting the freedom to read remains important today. Refreshments will be provided!
