Joseph J. Fins, MD, MACP, FRCP (Weill Cornell Medical College) will be giving a presentation on "Disorders of Consciousness, Past, Present and Future: Clinical, Neuroethical and Legal Implications of Medical Progress" at the Ross Heart Hospital Auditorium on Thursday, September 19, at 7:00 am. A continental breakfast will precede the event at 6:30 am. 

The event will be live simulcast to the following rooms: Biomedical Research Institute 115; Davis Heat and Lung Research Institute 170; Eye and Ear Institute 3000; The James Cancer Hospital L035; Meiling Hall 160. 

Dr. Fins will also be giving a presentation on "A Writing Life: Practical Reflections on Publishing in Medicine and Bioethics" at 10:00 am in The James Cancer Hospital L035.

All faculty and staff are invited to both events.
