CEHV Announces Dorm Dialogues for Fall 2026 Semester

CEHV is excited to announce the return of its "Dorm Dialogues" series for the Fall 2026 semester.

Facilitated by CEHV Associate Director Aaron Yarmel, these dialogues provide the opportunity for conversation and community around the genuinely difficult ethical challenges that arise in the day-to-day lives of undergraduate students living in residence halls. Students are invited to share the everyday situations they encounter and the challenging questions they present. Past questions have included: where, precisely, is the line between an annoying personality quirk that should be tolerated and an inappropriate behavior that you should confront your roommate about? how important is it to be friends with your roommates? to what extent are we morally obligated to look out for the wellbeing of our roommates?

For Fall 2026, these Dorm Dialogues will be held from 7:00pm-8:30pm in the Morrill Tower Browsing Room on September 17, October 22, and November 19. To add these to your calendar, see our events page. Any questions can be directed to CEHV Associate Director Aaron Yarmel (yarmel.2@osu.edu).
