This summer Aaron Yarmel will join CEHV as the new Associate Director.

Yarmel comes to Ohio State from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he completed his dissertation on moral rules in activism and education in the Department of Philosophy. At UW Madison, Yarmel co-founded Madison Public Philosophy, an outreach organization dedicated to sharing philosophy with the general public through educational programs and public performances. He is also the recipient of multiple teaching awards, including the Capstone Teaching Award, Teaching Fellow Award, and Berent Enc Graduate Teaching Award. In addition to his contributions to ethics and public philosophy, Yarmel is a professional violinist.
