Trevor Hedberg (CEHV/College of Pharmacy Postdoctoral Scholar in Applied Ethics) was featured on the April 5 episode of the podcast Personal Finance for PhDs

In the interview, Hedberg discusses how he was able to accumulate $35,000 in savings while earning a $15,000 stipend as a graduate student.

Among other topics, he describes his experiments in frugal living and how his experiences as a graduate student helped to shape his lasting personal values about money and material acquisition. "The mere acquisition of more material possessions does not automatically make your life better or make it more fulfilling," Hedberg says, "It just gives you more stuff."
