Wexner Center for the Arts will host CEHV Director Winston Thompson for a Flash Talk on March 5 at 5 p.m. as part of this year’s Night of Ideas program, “Enlightenment Now: Independence at 250.” In his talk, “On the Uncertainty and Power of Education,” Thompson will describe a few abiding aspects of the contemporary university. Central to these is the tension between higher education’s dynamic, unpredictable impact on students and its powerful force in society. Thompson will probe these ideas and provide guidance on how to engage with them for individual and community benefit.
