Message from Vice Provost and Chief Diversity Officer, Dr. James L. Moore, III:

POSTPONEMENT OF THE DR. WILLIAM J. BARBER, II, MARCH 25 LECTURE AT THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY

In light of President Michael Drake’s recent announcement shutting down face-to-face classes through March 30th and all non-essential university events, we are postponing the President and Provost’s spring semester lecture by Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II, scheduled for March 25, 2020. This is an unfortunate result of the unprecedented health crisis our world is currently experiencing. We are in contact with Dr. Barber’s office to confirm a new date, likely in autumn semester. A special thank you to the hundreds who sent RSVPs for this event.  We will surely keep you abreast.

Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones during this time.

Respectfully,

Rose A. Wilson-Hill for Vice Provost Moore

Dr. Barber's lecture is cohosted by the Center for Ethics and Human Values, along with the College of Social Work, John Glenn College of Public Affairs, and Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity.
