What should researchers do with missing, inaccessible, or biased data? This panel will explore the ethical challenges of conducting responsible research when ideal data are unavailable or may be disappearing. Panelists will discuss strategies for working with incomplete datasets, addressing data bias, collaborating with communities to document missing data, and navigating new risks that arise when data collection and sharing become ethically fraught.
