"Twenty-five years after the verdict in the Rodney King trial sparked several days of protests, violence and looting in Los Angeles, filmmakers examine that tumultuous period through rarely seen archival footage."

Following the screening of the documentary, we will break for refreshments, and return for a panel discussion featuring:

  • Navid Farnia (African American and African Studies, Ohio State)
  • Alyss Dixson (Visiting Scholar-Artist in Residence, Ohio State)
