Columbus Alive interviews panelists from CEHV event on religion and racial justice

Martin Luther King, Jr.

On January 20, CEHV hosted a panel in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday--From Chaos to Community: Faith and Social Justice--on the role of organized religion in promoting racial justice. It was co-sponsored by the Ohio Council of Churches and OSU's Center for the Study of Religion.

In advance of the event, Columbus Alive published a thoughtful, wide-ranging interview with Rev. Dr. Jack Sullivan (Executive Director, Ohio Council of Churches) and Prof. Isaac Weiner (Department of Comparative Studies and the Center for the Study of Religion) about the themes of the panel.
