Kellogg Chair in Agricultural, Food, and Community Ethics at Michigan State University. He is the author or editor of numerous books on agricultural and environmental ethics, including The Agrarian Vision: Sustainability and Environmental Ethics, The Agrarian Roots of Pragmatism, and The Spirit of the Soil: Agriculture and Environmental Ethics.  Julian Agyeman has written widely on the idea of “just sustainabilities,” including his books Introducing Just Sustainabilities and Sustainable Communities and the Challenge of Environmental Justice. He has also a new edited volume on sustainable cities titled Incomplete Streets: Processes, Practices, and Possibilities.
