Join us for a conversation with Mark Katz, Founding Director of Next Level, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State, the University of North Carolina, and the Meridian International Center, which uses hip-hop music, dance, and art to foster cross-cultural creative exchange in diverse communities worldwide. Professor Katz will be joined by TRUTH and Klevah of Mother Nature, a Chicago-based hip-hop duo which has taken part in Next Level programs in Azerbaijan and Morocco.

7:00pm-10:00pm: Concluding reception & concert

The conference will be followed by a reception and concert featuring Mother Nature at the Urban Arts Space in downtown Columbus; see separate event listing for details. This reception is co-sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Urban Arts Space.
