COMPAS UNIVERSITY LIFE EVENT: Windows on Death Row Exhibit Program
The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library presents Windows on Death Row Exhibit Program Join the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library for an evening of programming to explore Windows On Death Row: Art from Inside and Outside the Prison Walls, with exhibit curators Patrick Chappatte and Anne-Frederique Widmann, and special guest Ndume Olatushani. 4:00p: Curators’ Tour of Windows On Death Row, museum galleries5:00p - 6:30p: Catered reception, Will Eisner Seminar Room6:30p - 8:00p: Multimedia presentation by Windows On Death Row project and exhibit founders, political cartoonist Patrick Chappatte and journalist Anne-Frederique Widmann, followed by a special presentation from painter and former death-row inmate Ndume Olatushani who was wrongly convicted and imprisoned for 28 years. Jean and Charles Schulz Lecture Hall.
