Last week, Ohio State unveiled a new initiative, called Listen. Learn. Discuss: 

"a set of skill-based resources focused on helping members of our community respectfully listen and discuss different points of view, build trust with one another, learn how to clearly articulate their points of view and successfully navigate complex conversations — on and beyond Ohio State campuses." 

As President Carter discussed in his welcome address, this initiative is a central resource for all members of our campus community who are interested in learning how to engage with one another in civil discourse.

Offerings from CEHV's long-standing Civil Discourse for Citizenship Program are featured prominently throughout, and form the core of, the initiative's list of resources. And over the summer, CEHV Associate Director, Dr. Aaron Yarmel, collaborated with Ohio State's Office of Marketing and Communications and other key stakeholders during the creation of the new initiative. CEHV is proud of the role that we have played and excited about the role we will continue to play in this new initiative.
