CEHV Welcomes Civil Discourse for Citizenship Postdoctoral Researcher, Dr. Kyle Stroh
CEHV is pleased to announce that Dr. Kyle Stroh has recently joined us as the new Civil Discourse for Citizenship Postdoctoral Researcher. In that role, Kyle will support CEHV's mission of building a culture of rigorous and respectful engagement on campus by presenting 4Cs workshops in collaboration with Dr. Kathryn Joyce and teaching CEHV's Conversations on Morality, Politics, and Society (ARTSSCI 2400) course.
Kyle specializes in social and political philosophy, feminist philosophy of science, and cross-cultural ethics. His research focuses on the various ways in which discourse is capable of improving agents' moral evaluations of social practices and policies. This includes their evaluations of the social practices found in other cultures and their evaluations of the social policies guiding research within scientific communities. He received his PhD in Philosophy from Indiana University in 2024.
CEHV's Civil Discourse for Citizenship Postdoctoral Researcher position is generously supported by the Derrow Family Foundation.
