CEHV/College of Pharmacy Postdoc Jason Chen has begun a new YouTube series dedicated to providing commentary on issues relating to bioethics and philosophy in general. After doing his PhD in philosophy, Jason Chen addressed ethical issues that arose in the hospital at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Due to his experience, he has a thorough understanding of both the theory and practice of medical ethics.

In his videos, Jason Chen shares his thoughts on various bioethical issues, such as physician-assisted suicide, surrogate decision making, and respecting patient autonomy. Additional content includes wider philosophical topics, such as animal rights, critical thinking, and the human condition.

Jason Chen’s videos are designed to be accessible to a broad audience. His explanations are clear and concise, and he avoids using technical jargon wherever possible. He often uses real-world examples to illustrate his points, making the content engaging and relatable.

Importantly, while the focus of the channel revolves around serious issues, lighthearted content will also be uploaded – e.g., meme reaction videos.
