The journal AJOB Neuroscience has published a new article by former CEHV Graduate Associate Aly McCarthy (now Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Vanderbilt) and CEHV Steering Committee member and CARE Coordinator Dana Howard (Assistant Professor of Bioethics).

In the article, "Supported Decision-Making: Non-Domination Rather than Mental Prosthesis," McCarthy and Howard offer an account of supported decision-making in which the primary constraint is to protect the patient from domination by the trustee.
