Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Winston Thompson joins CEHV Steering Committee

The Center for Ethics and Human Values is very pleased and honored to welcome Prof. Winston Thompson to the CEHV Steering Committee. Thompson is Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Studies in the College of Education and Human Ecology. As a member of the CEHV Steering Committee, he joins the core group of faculty overseeing major decisions at the Center and helping to build its programs.

Thompson's scholarship focuses on ethical and social/political questions of justice, education, and the public good. His work has appeared in Educational Theory, Philosophy of Education, Teachers College Record, The Journal of Philosophy of Education, Educational Philosophy and Theory, and Studies in Philosophy and Education.

At CEHV he has already taken the lead on a number of initiatives, including our November event on "America in the Classroom."
